DDOT Meeting RE: DC Circulator Bus

3/24/2020
****CURRENT UPDATE***  Share your input.

We want your input on our 2020 Transit Development Plan (TDP)—an analysis that combines data and rider feedback to shape our vision for the future! With your help, we will
explore ways to enhance our current service. Please share the information below with Ward 7 residents.

The 2011 DC Circulator TDP, the first such plan for the DC Circulator in its 15-year history, called for a TDP update every three years to keep up with system needs and enhancements.
The first TDP update was released in 2014, and the second in 2017. Now, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is updating the TDP once again as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the service. The 2020 Transit Development Plan Update will focus
on enhancing the existing service and provide guidelines to extend the system to Ward 7.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to David Koch.

****PREVIOUS UPDATE***

Hello All,

Unfortunately with the current public health situation, the Mayor has directed that all public meetings, open houses, and other agency events scheduled through March 31 should be postponed until further notice.

As such, the meeting on tomorrow with DDOT is canceled until further notice.

In the meantime, Ward 7 residents can continue to email the DDOT project team at Tdp2020DC@gmail.com with any feedback about their preferences for the new Ward 7 Circulator route.

Please send your email and make your position clear.

Fairfax Village needs to be a destination route on the DC Circualtor Bus & we need a route that will get us to either Naylor Road Metro or Suitland, which is quicker than traveling on the M6 in rush hour to Potomac Ave.

Stay Safe,

Cortez Johnson
